Can I ask an agent to help me standby or change my flight?

Effective March 1, 2024, only Platinum Pro, Executive Platinum or Concierge Key AAdvantage members will be able to have an agent assist in standby or flight changes. All other passengers must use the website or app.

If a bag has already been checked, requests can be made up:

  • Up to 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure for Platinum Pro, Executive Platinum or Concierge Key AAdvantage members with an agent
  • Up to 75 minutes prior to scheduled departure for any AAdvantage or OneWorld status passengers through the website or app
  • All other passengers requests are not allowed
