A request for Original Routing Credit is submitted to AAdvantage Customer Service when a trip disruption (involuntary) results in less desirable earnings. For example, a flight is canceled and the passenger is rebooked on another airline.
The passenger can contact AAdvantage Customer Service by phone or sending an e-mail to Aadvantage_Customer_Svc(at)aa.com with their AAdvantage # and original ticket #.
